Zircon, also known as zirconite, or hyacinthite, is one of the oldest
minerals formed on Earth. Zircon is a silicate mineral that is chemically stable,
and the oldest zircon that has been determined to have formed was 4.3 billion years ago.
Zircon was favored as early as ancient Greece, and the radiant zircon was likened to a symbol of prosperity and success, with great significance.
